VibePly™, operated by VibePly LLC ("we," "our," "us"), is a resume workspace built for the person applying. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and what we don't do with it.
Account information. If you sign up for Pro or join our waitlist, we collect your email address. We use it to manage your account and send product-related communications. We don't sell or share your email with third parties.
Analytics. We use analytics and advertising tools to understand how people use the site and to measure the effectiveness of our marketing. These tools may use cookies and may process your IP address. You can disable cookies in your browser settings.
Usage data. We log technical metadata such as timestamps, error logs, and anonymized usage counts to monitor performance and debug issues. These logs do not contain your resume or job listing content.
Local storage. We use your browser's local storage to remember your preferences (theme, last-used inputs) and to keep a local history of your past analyses. We also use technical mechanisms to enforce free-tier limits and protect the service from abuse.
Pro subscriber data. Pro subscribers' analysis results, parsed resume content, job titles, and application tracking data (job statuses, follow-up notes, and dates) are stored securely on our servers to enable features like Version History, Resume Export, and the Application Tracker. Interview Prep questions generated for each role are stored alongside the analysis. Full resume files (PDFs) are not stored. Only the parsed text and structure needed to generate exports are retained. Feedback submitted through the Pro dashboard is also stored. Pro users can delete their data at any time from the dashboard.
Resumes and job listings. When you run a free analysis, your content is processed in memory and results are returned to your browser. We do not store your resume, job listing, or analysis results for free users. For Pro subscribers, analysis results and parsed resume content are stored securely to enable features like Version History and Resume Export.
File uploads. If you upload a resume file, it is processed in memory to extract text, then discarded. We do not save uploaded files.
Don't include sensitive personal information that wouldn't normally appear on a professional resume, such as government ID numbers, financial account details, or medical information. We're not responsible for sensitive data you choose to include, and we recommend redacting it before uploading.
We use third-party services for AI processing, website hosting, data storage, payment processing, and analytics. These services process your data only as needed to provide their function, and are bound by their own privacy policies. Your resume and job listing content is not stored by any third-party service beyond the time needed to complete your analysis. Payment information is handled entirely by our payment processor and is never stored on our servers.
We do not train AI models on your resume content, job listings, or analysis results. Your data is used solely to generate analysis output for you. Third-party AI providers we use are bound by their own policies, and we configure these services so that your data is not used to train their models.
All data transmitted between your browser and our servers is encrypted. Free users' resumes and job listings are never stored. Pro subscribers' data is stored securely with access restricted to VibePly administrators. Pro users can delete their stored data at any time from the dashboard.
Free users' resumes and job listings are not stored. Pro subscribers' stored data (analysis results, parsed resume content, application tracking data) is retained while your subscription is active. VibePly is not intended for use by anyone under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you become aware that a minor has provided us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
If we make meaningful changes to this policy, we'll update the date at the top. We won't retroactively change how we handle data you've already shared with us.
